Suter Wildlife Refuge Family Session

White dresses and veils. White dress shirts. The sound of beautiful hymns. No, not a wedding, but equally special. Sophie stood there with the other children all dressed in white who had also received their First Communion. She was all smiles as she knew that she had experienced something wonderful.

I had the privilege of not only photographing sweet Sophie after her first communion, but I also got to photograph the her family. The Millers were so amazing and easy going! The weather had been great leading up to their photoshoot, and then we had some serious clouds and wind blow through about an hour before their shoot. We were dealing with humidity, mosquitoes, and wind, but they were all smiles and rocked their photoshoot!

What made this photoshoot extra special was the fact that both of Sophie’s grandmothers were there to share this time with her. It’s a real treat when I get to capture moments between multiple generations of families.

Thank you Edyta for allowing me to be part of this special time in your family’s life. May God continue to bless all of you.
