“Her name is Angela, but I call her Angel because she’s been an angel to me… and my rock”. That sentence was the first I had heard of this amazing woman. My friend, and neighbor, Wendie told me about how her best friend Angela saved her after an incredibly challenging time in her life. Angela was not only the stability that Wendie needed, but she has been the same for many children.

She is an elementary teacher and was a foster parent through which she adopted 4 sweet children. She has amazing faith in God and his power to heal. Angela and her family have gone through a difficult time recently and she has found herself a newly single mama to 6 BEAUTIFUL children. The love she has for them is clearly evident, as is the love those babies have for her!

There is a quote from a testimony that Wendie gave that I absolutely loved. She said, “People are like stained glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within”.

Angela has that light from within and it radiates outward through her love for her family, friends, and God. I feel so privileged to have met her and her family. Thank you Angela for allowing me to capture such beautiful moments.
