When Jackie told me they were having a Dia de Los Muertos themed wedding, I was so excited! 🤗 I thought, how fun and unique! Then when we were planning their engagement shoot, she sent me the locations she was interested in in San Antonio and thought they were absolutely perfect! I have been to San Antonio so many times and I can’t believe I had no idea these places existed. It’s always so fun when clients find amazing places for their photoshoots!
Jackie and Chase are such an adorable couple! I love the story of how they met because it’s similar to mine! Their love story begins at a church dance (like great love stories do 😉). They have a wedding website where they each tell their side of the story and it’s so cute to read! Please read it! Jackie is an awesome art teacher at a middle school. I love to see the projects she creates with her students on her instagram! She is incredibly sweet and SO CREATIVE! No joke. I’ve known Jackie (aka Jaclyn) for a while, but their engagement session was my first time meeting Chase. He was totally fun to be around and it was obvious how much they love each other! Chase is a Paleoethnobotanist which means he studies ancient plants and the relationship they had with humans at the time. That’s the very simplified version of what he does. I know there’s so much more to it, but that’s the best way I can sum it up! Sorry Chase! You can definitely explain that better. 🙈 But isn’t that interesting!
I had a blast with Jackie & Chase at their engagement session. I got to explore new areas of San Antonio (that were right under my nose this whole time), and got to photograph these two amazing humans. Thank you guys for allowing me to be part of this special time in your lives! May God bless you with a long beautiful marriage ❤
