oh TWO-ddles! LUCAS turns 2!

“See that there?… It’s a boy”. My heart thumped as I tried to hold back tears so that the sonographer wouldn’t think I was a complete jerk for being disappointed.  I’d always wanted 2 boys and a girl, but deep down in my heart knew that I was meant to have 3 boys. I had a dream about it when I was about 17 years old and have always felt that I was going to have 3 boys. And there I was. Pregnant for the third time. Hoping I was wrong and that I would actually have a girl. But no! It was another boy, just as I always knew God intended for me. And I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world!

And to say that I love them would be the understatement of the year. This little boy has filled my heart and completed our family in every way. He’s such a mama’s boy and tells me he loves me about a hundred times a day, showers me with kisses and hugs, and is just a complete sweet heart to his brothers.  Lucas is so bright and spunky and NEVER stops moving. He loves all things MICKEY MOUSE, so of course mama has to get him everything with his beloved character on it.

He has also become quite the little artist and has filled many spirals, my walls, and recently my bed sheets with his greatest work (which you can see below!) Lucas definitely keeps us on our toes, but I can’t imagine life without him. I’m so grateful for his cute cheeky smile and another birthday we get to celebrate!

We love you Lucitas! I feel so privileged to be your mama. May God bless you with a long and healthy life 💙💙💙

JUST A FEW OF PIECES HIS FAMOUS ART WORK.
