LAUREN & JONATHAN
“THIS IS MY MOTHER’S VEIL”, SAID LAUREN AS WE SWOOSHED IT FOR PORTRAITS.
I couldn’t get over how pretty and delicate it was with tiny pearls and lace trim. Lauren and Jonathan’s wedding was filled with so many personal touches, and it was clear how much they were loved as they were surrounded by family and friends. Almost every detail of their wedding was carefully made by the bride and/or family members. From the simple green bouquets to the centerpieces to the cake. I absolutely loved the simplicity and beauty of it all. Lauren was stunning in her vintage dress that perfectly complimented her mother’s veil. Jonathan’s reaction during their first look said it all!
LAUREN WENT BAREFOOT FOR MOST OF HER PORTRAITS!
We were all so relieved that their first look and portraits at their ceremony location were even possible as the clouds and wind threatened their day. I think we all checked the weather over a hundred times and prayed that the rain wouldn’t keep this beautiful couple indoors on their wedding day. The reception had to be pushed back another hour as we waited for the rain AND WIIIND to subside, but none of that was enough to put a damper on Lauren and Jonathan’s mood. They were smiling from ear to ear and just absolutely gushing over each other!
RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY!
But suddenly, our personal “Lucky Star” swooped in and the rain was gone giving us enough time for more portraits, and a fun reception filled with food, toasts, and dancing! It got cold that evening, so the bride was forced to wear shoes, but fireplace and heaters warmed our bodies, while Lauren and Jonathan’s first dance warmed our hearts.
Congratulations you guys! May your marriage be EVEN MORE beautiful than your wedding! A love like yours will last and impact many generations ❤️ Thank you for letting me be a part of such a special day in your lives!
